Alexia’s Journey

Counting today ( as Max prefers) we have 16 “sleeps” until we leave for Alexia’s Make a Wish trip to the Give Kids The World resort near Orlando. We’ll enjoy five days and nights in the most magical place on earth as we’ll do three days at Disney/ Epcot and a day at Sea World . The real magic I’m told is in the resort – where there are pools, ice cream, celebrity tuck ins and accessible everything . The whole trip is an exciting but not at all “real” thing for Alexia and Max- just yet . They have no idea what to expect and I’m absolutely planning on a cry fest when I watch them take it in for the first time . I’ve seen excited, like a candy tossing parade, and happy like a swim in a pool together night, magic in their faces like this, never .. I absolutely never thought we’d be a “wish family”, but I am so grateful for this opportunity and this chance to give them both some “magic” that they can take with them forever .
